Below employee benefits are as per the company policy, which may change from time to time.

Holidays & Leaves

  1. During Probation
    1. National & Festival Holidays – 07 days per annum.
    2. Casual Leaves – 12 days per annum (pro-rated from date of joining).
    3. Weekly Off – Staff are entitled for a weekly off on Sunday / any other day of the week as per the discretion of Department Head
  1. Post Probation – In addition to the above
    1. Earned Leave – 22 days per annum (credited in January every year)
    2. Sick Leave – 04 days per annum
    3. Restricted Holiday – On completion of one year as on 1st January employees are eligible to choose 5 Restricted holiday (extra holiday) as per their choice
    4. Maternity Leave – All woman employees who worked 80 days in the preceding 12 months before date of delivery, are eligible for 6 weeks pre-delivery and 6 weeks post-delivery maternity leave

Night Allowance

Staff working in night shift are eligible for Night shift allowance based on the number of hours worked

Special Reimbursement

Employees are eligible for special reimbursement of 4% of their CTC on successful completion of one year of continued service.

Leave Encashment

 Staff completing 5 years of service in the company are eligible to en-cash their leaves twice in a year.

Pick up and Drop facility – (Railway Station to CPL and back)

For employees working in head office, bus facility is provided from nearest station (Juinagar) to Office and vice-verse. Vehicle Trips happen at regular interval on all 7 days in a week, in Morning, evening and night.

Canteen Facility

Company runs its own canteen to ensure that hygiene and good quality food is provided to employees. Employees can avail this subsidized canteen services in view of good health of self and financials management


Company supports its outstation employees by providing accommodation facility in its vicinity. Monthly HRA is deducted against this facility.

Health Insurance

This insurance scheme is to provide insurance coverage of Rs. 1 lakh to the Thyrocare Employees (those completed one year of service) and their Dependents for expenses related to hospitalization due to illness, disease or accidental injury.

Employee Stock Option Scheme (ESOP)

The company has introduced ESOP scheme in the year 2014-15, as a reward for those employees who continue in the service of the company for a specific minimum period and contribute to the company’s growth.

Under this scheme, the management offers an option to the employees to buy specified number of shares of the company at face value of Rs.10/- each whereas the market price is very much higher. For example, the market value as on September 28, 2016 is about Rs.625/-. Thus, the employee gets a benefit of Rs.615/- per share for the total number of shares offered to him.

Ombudsman for Women Safety

Women protection committee is decided and protocols are set regards to filing a complain on particular issue, certain powers are entrusted on committee members.

Provident Fund (PF)

Thyrocare contributes towards PF to provide social security to its employees. Social benefits in the form of retirement and old age benefits, superannuation, Individual pension, family pension and deposit linked insurance

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC)

Employees’ State Insurance Scheme of India is a multidimensional social security system tailored to provide socio-economic protection to worker population and their dependents covered under the scheme. It is contributed by both self and employer.

Bonus is given to employee worked more than 30 days in that Financial Year calculable for bonus. It is generally released in Diwali at Thyrocare.


Gratuity is a part of salary that is received by an employee from his/her employer in gratitude for the services offered by the employee in the company. It is paid when an employee completes 5 or more years of full time service. (min. 240 days/ year).
